The F/a-18E Super Hornet is a further development of the F/a-18A and C Hornets. It is an enlarged
version of the old ones. It is longer and has a greater wingspan. Also the LEXs and intakes have been
revised. The new aircraft has stealth caracteristics too. The Super Hornet has been replacing the F-14
Tomcat and F/a-18A and Cs in US Navy and USMC squadrons since 2001.
