Welcome To
This site is dedicated to 1/48 scale model plastic modelkits that are built, painted, weathered and photographed, obtaining some awesome results exactly simulating the real thing. We do our best to make our models look as realistic as possible. Even the aviation pro, sometimes will have to look twice to see if he or she is looking at a scale model or actually at the real aircraft. Refer to the guestbook to see for yourself.
The Warbird Factory was founded in 2000 in Sao Paulo, Brazil and moved to Amsterdam in 2004. Our goal is to promote plastic scale modeling as an art and very interesting hobby. To finance our hobby all models are for sale. You can click on the menu below to see the gallery of models. Check out the WWII birds. There are a B-17G Flying Fortress, a P-51D Mustang and a P-38 Lightning. Also a Skyraider (see below) and another F-16C. Keep informed and check back reguarly! New also is the "how 2" section. There the secrets of building a convincing scale model are going to be unveiled. This is a short cut on how to build pro-models. Many techniques like airbrushing will be discussed here. Check out the Warbird Gallery to see an easy overview on all models. In progress are a Fieseler Storch (100th Milestone Tamiya) and the recently issued TwoBobs T-2C Buckeye

This photo (left) was taken of my F/a-18C Hornet a Hasegawa 1/48 scale model. My friend André Caputo has done some keen studiowork with the photos here. You have to admit it looks cool to see me next to an " Enduring Freedom" Hornet.
